Position Summary
Provides direct patient care using the nursing process within scope of practice, including:
Medication administration, treatments, specimen collection
Monitoring and documenting patient condition
Supporting ADLs: hygiene, mobility, nutrition
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for care coordination, transfers, and discharge
Patient and family education and advocacy
Requirements
Must Have:
Active RN license (VA or Compact)
Med Surg / Acute Care experience
BLS (AHA)
Preferred:
BSN
Strong critical thinking, adaptability to stress, independent work skills
