Location: Avon, CO
Schedule: 13 Weeks | Day shift, 10 hours, M-F

IMPORTANT: Must reside 70 or more miles from zip code 81620

Key Responsibilities:
• Ability to perform venipunctures, administer injections, and initiate intravenous therapy preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations
• Performs both clinical and administrative tasks to support healthcare professionals
• Taking vital signs, recording medical history, assisting with exams and procedures, sterilizing equipment, and managing patient records
Qualifications:
• Must have 1 of the following medical assistant license certifications: (CMA) by AAMA, (RMA) by AMT, NCMA by National center for Competency Training, CCMA by (NHA), MAC by AMCA, or Nationally registered certified medical assistant by NAHP.
• Current AHA BLS is required
• 2 years of experience with some PEDS experience
