Key Responsibilities
Provide account knowledge regarding hazards, controls, and management to Underwriters
Evaluate companies' inherent risk factors and differentiate accounts from similar businesses
Build and maintain relationships with Underwriting, Claim, Risk Control Specialists, and Brokers
Complete risk assessment evaluations for complex businesses
Write detailed reports communicating risk assessments and recommendations
Identify uncontrolled exposures and recommend improvements
Stay current with technical subject matters and regulatory environment
Create a valued customer experience through assessments and service encounters
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or graduate degree in environmental health and safety, engineering, construction management, basic sciences or related fields
Seven years of experience in safety, risk control/management, or related fields
Valid driver's license
Must have or be able to attain appropriate certification to meet state-specific requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced level knowledge of insurance industry and business acumen
Recognized relevant certifications (such as ASP, CSP, ARM, CFPS)
