Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based clinical services including sick calls and chronic care management
Visit the infirmary daily and ensure accurate documentation
Provide on-call services as required
Utilize the approved formulary for therapeutic regimens
Resolve patient care issues using in-house resources
Offer emergency treatment and respond to urgent situations
Demonstrate competency in CPR techniques
Uphold policies and procedures to maintain medical care standards
Act as a resource for professional and non-professional personnel
Attend and contribute to Medical Staff meetings
Conduct in-service education sessions for staff
Participate in quality care reviews and utilization review processes
Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
Medical Degree from an accredited medical school
Fully licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania
Current DEA Registration
Preferred Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in primary care specialties
Administrative experience in corrections or managed healthcare
