Job DescriptionJoin Zen Educate as a Special Education Aide this summer and make a difference in the lives of K-12 students with autism and behavioral needs. You'll provide vital classroom support, implement behavior plans, and foster a positive learning environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support Support classroom management and student engagement Track and document behavioral data Partner with special education staff and families for consistent support Assist with personal care routines Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs Experience providing personal care support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations US Work Authorization English proficiency Passion for supporting students Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting children with autism or severe emotional needs Experience in special education with moderate to severe behaviors Bachelor’s Degree Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies Additional training in behavioral techniques Benefits & PerksWeekly pay Paid Sick Leave 401K (certain eligibility criteria)
