As the Director of Operations, you will oversee the management of facilities across New York City, ensuring efficient operations and high safety standards. This role involves leading a team, collaborating with contractors, and implementing performance metrics to enhance operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of agency properties across NYC
Manage area managers and maintenance teams
Ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues
Develop performance metrics for property operations
Collaborate with external contractors for complex issues
Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Required Qualifications
Minimum 10 years as a tradesperson in mechanical, plumbing, or electrical fields
At least 5 years of managerial experience
Knowledge of technical building systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a hybrid role with both field and office responsibilities
Familiarity with life safety system requirements and contract management
Ability to develop and analyze performance metrics
