Job Description
Join AutoZone as a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate and drive sales through exceptional customer service. You'll assist customers, operate cash registers, and maintain store standards while enjoying competitive pay and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provides WOW! Customer Service
Ensures assigned store tasks are completed in a timely manner
Operates cash registers and follows cash handling procedures
Follows company policies and loss prevention procedures
Maintains a safe working environment
Maintains store appearance and merchandising standards
Restocks merchandise and places it in respective areas
Utilizes ZNET to help customers locate merchandise
Maintains product knowledge and current promotions
Assists with installation of wipers, batteries, and light bulbs
Reads codes from customers' automobiles using OBDII
Diagnoses automobile problems and recommends solutions
Communicates with managers regarding customer concerns
Develops effective customer service skills
Provides honest advice to customers regarding products
Required Qualifications
Applicants 18 years or older
High School diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of automotive parts
Excellent communication and decision making skills
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends
