Job Description

Join Raytheon as a Principal GPS Systems Engineer to develop cutting-edge GPS electronics solutions for missile products. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop GPS electronics solutions for missile products
  • Collaborate with missile level system engineers
  • Conduct analysis and modeling for GPS sub-assemblies
  • Document subsystem requirements and test plans
  • Interface with suppliers of navigation electronics components
  • Support multiple programs and collaborate with various teams

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience
  • Experience in developing RF electrical subsystems
  • Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in detailed design and troubleshooting of missile radar and RF seeker subsystems
  • Experience in systems engineering and architecture
  • Recent experience with integrated Guidance Electronics systems using GPS and IMU navigation
  • Knowledge and/or experience with M-Code
  • Familiarity with Matlab scripting and tools
  • Experience with hardware integration and testing
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of DOD Hardware development process
  • Experience in developing proposals
  • Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
