The Nurse Practitioner in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) provides advanced clinical care and management for critically ill patients under the supervision of Critical Care Medical Staff. They collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care within Middlesex Health. The role requires a Master's degree in Nursing, BLS certification, and preferably two years of clinical experience in critical care.

Summary:
The primary function of the advanced practice provider (APP) in Critical Care is to provide care to and management of CCU patients under the clinical supervision of the Critical Care Medical Staff. He/she will work collaboratively with the physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants (MAs), and front-desk staff to support patients within Critical Care (CCU).
