ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts with every other weekend coverage required
• Float pool position - may work in 2 different units during a 12-hour shift depending on need
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for both days and nights
• Must have cardiac experience and 2+ years of nursing experience
• First time travelers acceptable with 2-3 years of experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have Massachusetts license in hand at time of submission
• Cerner documentation system experience preferred but not required
• Skills required: interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drip management (no titration), telemetry monitoring, insulin drip titration
• Experience with Cardizem drips, Amiodarone drips, and float pool experience preferred
• Standard contract length is 14 weeks
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 hour shifts, 48 hours for 4x12 hour shifts
• Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 2 shifts per 6-8 week assignment
• May be required to relieve staff in the Avasure video monitoring system during breaks and meals
Facility:
This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive float pool system that includes nurses, PCAs, and OAs who are strategically placed based on unit needs during daily bed meetings. The facility features medical/surgical telemetry and telemetry observation units, utilizing advanced monitoring technology including the Avasure video system that can monitor up to 12 patients simultaneously. The float pool is centrally based and provides flexible staffing solutions across multiple units to ensure optimal patient care coverage.
