Travel Pre-Operative Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday
Start Date: 10/13/2025
Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Pre-Operative RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for nurses with perioperative experience who can provide safe, high-quality care in the pre-operative setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery
Administer medications and ensure patient safety
Collaborate with the surgical team to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and post-operative care
Document patient assessments and care accurately
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pre-operative or perioperative nursing
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a perioperative team
Assignment Details:
Shift Type: 8-hour Days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Duration: 13 weeks
