Join Good Samaritan as a Certified Medication Assistant and provide compassionate care to seniors in a supportive environment. You'll assist with daily living activities, administer medications, and help create a positive living experience for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance
Administers prescribed medications under supervision
Documents outcomes related to resident care and medication administration
Assists with daily living activities and basic healthcare needs
Provides housekeeping and laundry services
Encourages participation in wellness and recreational programs
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or GED preferred
Minimum age of 18 preferred
CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing
Successful completion of state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing
Maintains required certifications
Valid driver's license and auto insurance (when applicable)
