Key Responsibilities
Administers the nursing program in a long-term care facility
Facilitates geriatric care process optimization
Responsible for overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
Advises medical staff and administrators on nursing service strategies
Monitors operations of nursing staff for regulatory compliance
Schedules staff and conducts performance reviews
Provides nursing care to residents as needed
Leads development and execution of clinical programs and policies
Required Qualifications
Five years nursing experience required
Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
Working knowledge of administrative and management techniques
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
Experience in housing with services, HUD, and/or assisted living
