Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Behavior Technician and make a difference in the lives of K-12 special education students. This role offers hands-on experience supporting students' behavioral and academic needs in a structured classroom setting, with flexible hours and competitive pay.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students' self-care and social/behavioral needs individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe classroom environment
Provide support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement and outcomes
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher OR passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment OR Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience working with children
Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs
