Job Description
The Medical Director at The Jewish Board leads psychiatric care and clinical operations at a CCBHC, ensuring integrated care and supporting clinicians. This role includes direct service provision and supervision of new practitioners, enhancing overall service quality and training.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to clinicians and programs at the CCBHC
Lead clinical team meetings and assist with prescription coverage
Support psychiatric best practices and drive quality improvement processes
Provide clinical orientation for new practitioners
Conduct chart reviews and support recruitment efforts
Supervise NPP Students and Psych providers
Provide direct client services
Required Qualifications
Active New York State medical license
DEA certification
Specialty or considerable experience in Substance Use Treatment
Preferred Qualifications
Subspecialty board certification in addiction psychiatry
Addiction certification from the American Society of Addiction Medicine
Certification by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM)
Subspecialty board certification in Addiction Medicine from the American Osteopathic Association
