Lincoln Electric is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for their Mentor, OH plant. This role involves working on capital projects, providing engineering support, and improving existing equipment and facilities to enhance safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Work in a team on capital and strategic projects for Cleveland Operation production facilities
Responsible for mechanical aspects of projects including facilities preparation, equipment design and installation
Work on engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability, safety, and lower operational costs
Engineer solutions complying with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
Interface with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance departments, R&D, QA, and Supply Management
Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance departments
Work with and manage outside engineering and construction personnel
Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 3+ years professional experience: Level II Engineer
Minimum of 5+ years professional experience: Level III Engineer
Good judgment
Self-motivated
Safety conscious
Strong desire to take ownership and drive results
Ability to handle a variety of assignments and changing priorities
Ability to perform hands-on work
Ability to handle small to medium-sized projects with supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Solid Edge CAD modelling software
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EPA and OSHA standards
