Key Responsibilities
Manage and direct the preparation and presentation of all foods
Maintain and follow local Health Department food preparation codes
Hire, train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff
Listen actively and communicate clearly with guests
Analyze feedback and implement suggestions for improvement
Create and implement new menus based on food trends
Audit food storeroom items to maintain quality
Develop programs for a safe facility and work environment
Assist in estimating annual food budget
Required Qualifications
High School degree or equivalent
5+ years experience in restaurant kitchen(s)
1+ years experience in restaurant supervisory/leadership role
Must be flexible regarding scheduling
Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
Culinary education degree
Previous Executive Chef experience
Prior kitchen experience in hotel/resort industry
Understanding of sanitation-related issues
