DescriptionWe are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in Athens, TX . This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a supportive outpatient environment focused on patient-centered care and long-term wellness.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver full-scope family medicine services, including preventive, acute, and chronic care management
Conduct routine physicals, wellness exams, and screenings for patients of all ages
Diagnose and manage common medical conditions and minor injuries
Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Provide patient education on wellness, disease prevention, and chronic care management
Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the EMR
Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in family medicine or primary care preferred
Strong communication and clinical skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule
