Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-service jurisdictional inspections of boilers and pressure vessels
Service Southeastern MA, Boston, Metro-West Boston, and Rhode Island
Manage, inspect, evaluate, and confer with clients
Perform inspections in compliance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and National Board Inspection Code
Eliminate or mitigate hazards during inspections
Travel approximately 30%
Required Qualifications
BS in Engineering, associate degree from a 2-year technical school, or high school diploma (or equivalent)
Meet National Board In-Service commission qualification requirements
Acquire a passing score on the National Board Exam
National Board Commission and certification from at least one jurisdiction within 12 months
Preferred Qualifications
National Board and state certifications
Qualified to review repairs in accordance with the NBIC and FMIC requirements
