Job Description
Join Johns Hopkins Medicine as a Senior Sonographer I in Fetal Therapy, where you'll perform advanced ultrasound procedures, train fellow sonographers, and contribute to groundbreaking clinical research in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high risk OB diagnostic ultrasound scans and interventional procedures
Generate patient reports and maintain sonographic equipment
Train and supervise ultrasound Sonographers
Participate in clinical research studies
Orient and educate medical staff in sonographic technology
Record maintenance logs for equipment and document patient information
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent
Successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic ultrasound
Current and active registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) in obstetrics and fetal echocardiography
At least three (3) years of clinical experience in diagnostic obstetrical ultrasound
Preferred Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology as related to Obstetrical ultrasound
Knowledge of OB/GYN ultrasound protocols
Knowledge of first trimester screening, three- and four-dimensional imaging, and obstetric Doppler studies
