UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center is pleased to offer long-term employee housing at Creek's End, a 42-unit development consisting of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom pet-friendly condos located just over a mile from the hospital campus. Amenities include all major appliances including in-unit washer and dryer, private patio or balcony, unit-controlled heating and air conditioning, and onsite parking. Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level. Preferred: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
Minimum Experience: 6 months of ICU or PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.

Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care
Critical Care:
Direct care includes Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level of care in a technically complex environment
AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards are included in evidence based care models for each ICU and PCU
