Job Description

Join Kaiser Permanente as a Nurse Director in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, where you will lead initiatives to improve patient care delivery and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership in managing clinical teams and ensuring compliance with safety standards while driving strategic improvements across multiple units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish best practice models and perform strategic planning for patient care delivery
  • Lead investigation of patient/family/member concerns regarding care
  • Manage resource needs in clinical areas and evaluate equipment and supplies
  • Oversee multiple units within the department and ensure work assignment completion
  • Direct hospital administrative functions to support patient care and ensure compliance
  • Manage care delivery operations and programs within a 24/7 environment
  • Drive internal and external strategic projects for quality and operational improvements
  • Ensure safe, quality, and standardized care delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in patient care delivery
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience managing operational or project budgets
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports
  • Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire
  • Basic Life Support required at hire
