Join Zen Educate as a Behavior Technician to support K–12 special education students. You will assist in implementing individualized education plans while fostering a safe and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in the classroom with academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students individually or in small groups
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance engagement
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher OR passing score on Paraeducator Assessment or Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Prior experience working with children in a structured setting
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience working with children
Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs
