Key Responsibilities
Take and document vital signs and other required procedures
Complete initial patient assessments for injuries
Assist with discharge processes including medication directions and scheduling follow-ups
Collect phlebotomy specimens and perform ancillary medical testing
Maintain patient rooms in a clean and orderly manner
Research patient files as needed
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent
At least one year of medical office experience preferred
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Windows-based software programs such as Word and Outlook
Reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites
Preferred Qualifications
Phlebotomy experience
Experience with ancillary medical testing (pulmonary function, EKG, audiograms, vision screening)
