Leidos is seeking a Test Instrumentation Program Manager to join our Test Instrumentation and Lethal Mechanisms (TI&LM) team in Huntsville, AL. The TI&LM portfolio specializes in the development and production of flight data acquisition, telemetry, and electronic fusing products for DoD and Aerospace customers. As the Test Instrumentation Program Manager, you will report to the TI&LM Portfolio Manager and have supervisory responsibility for a small team of ~4-5 direct reports. In this role, you will lead the execution, development and revitalization efforts for the Test Instrumentation scope within the portfolio, which includes a variety of avionics hardware solutions such as flight recorders, data acquisition systems, TSPI (time, space & position information) and modular instrumentation systems solutions. Additionally, you will oversee lab management for areas in which these products are tested (currently Solutions labs 2801 & 2802). This role serves as the Business Protected Environment (BPE) Environment Owner. Program Execution Excellence – Delivering on customer and financial commitments (i.e. People management – Supervisory responsibility Interfacing with both internal and external customers to develop relationships and ensure the highest quality of service Planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives Providing business expertise to proposals and ensure submissions align with mission, financial, and Division strategic objectives Collaborating cross-functionally by interfacing with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel. Key internal partners include manufacturing, business development, finance, quality, engineering, supplier management and contracts. Occasional travel may be required for in-person engagements with external customers and suppliers Participation in both internal and external audits as applicable, to include AS9100 and Cybersecurity. Customer-focused BA/BS in Business or Engineering degree 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters in Business or Engineering with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. In addition to 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
