Job Description

Join Johns Hopkins Medicine as the Director of Food and Culinary Services, where you'll lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional culinary experiences for patients and staff. You'll ensure efficient operations while fostering a culture of customer satisfaction and quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the Food and Culinary Services Department
  • Ensure high levels of customer service and patient satisfaction
  • Oversee food production and service for patients, employees, and visitors
  • Manage catering and procurement of supplies
  • Monitor quality of services and regulatory performance improvement

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology/Management, Hospitality, Nutrition and Dietetics or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in culinary/kitchen management
  • 5-7 years of management experience
  • Experience in high volume, multi-site, complex foodservice operations
  • ServSafe Manager certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience
  • Higher Education experience
