Position Overview / Responsibilities:

• Under the supervision of pathologists and management of the Anatomic Pathology Manager and Laboratory Director:

  • Examine, describe, and dissect all gross surgical specimens

  • Triage tissue for special studies as appropriate

  • Coordinate all Quality Assurance & Quality Control activities in the department

  • Prepare statistical reports and maintain logs, forms, and procedure manuals

• Maintain consistent shift hours once schedule is established
