As the Bottling Manager at Sazerac Company, you will oversee the bottling production function, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while managing a dedicated team. This role is vital in maintaining the high standards expected in producing award-winning spirits at the Barton 1792 Distillery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the bottling production function and coordinate bottling operators.
Monitor and update quality standards and government regulations.
Assign & train personnel for production.
Problem solve & recommend improvements.
Manage bottling operations within safety, quality, budgetary and regulatory guidelines.
Develop team members and implement operational improvements.
Ensure production efficiency and track quality and production data.
Develop positive relationships with the Union and manage grievance processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years relevant experience
Supervisory experience
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Strong analytical and technical skills
Proven root cause analysis and problem-solving training, techniques, and tools
Well versed in collaborating with maintenance, quality, and safety leadership
Proven ability to develop others
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
10+ years relevant experience
Master's Degree in related field
Familiar with beverage processing and its associated equipment
