Join Memorial Health University Medical Center as an RN Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator and help enhance patient care through performance improvement initiatives. You'll work closely with trauma leadership to ensure compliance with standards and educate staff on best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Plan
Maintain the Trauma PI database to ensure adequate documentation
Complete concurrent review of cases to identify quality and compliance with state standards
Participate in hospital education programs for nurses and resident physicians
Serve as a liaison to clinical areas responsible for trauma patients
Coordinate multidisciplinary monthly Trauma Systems & Operations Committee and Peer Review meetings
Required Qualifications
Registered Nurse
Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree
Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse or Trauma Nursing Core Course (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
