Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced  EP technologist to support a high-acuity Electrophysiology Lab in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate can  scrub, circulate, and monitor EP procedures, with proven experience in device implants and ablations. This role requires strong technical expertise with EP equipment, excellent teamwork, and meticulous attention to patient safety and documentation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor EP procedures (devices and ablations).
  • Operate EP specialty equipment: 3D mapping systems, stimulation systems, intracardiac echocardiography, EP monitoring/recording systems, and cardiac device programmers .
  • Troubleshoot EP and radiological equipment; maintain radiation safety and shielding best practices.
  • Verify informed consent; ensure adherence to  Universal Protocol for all invasive procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams; collect, assess, and document procedural data.
  • Maintain daily equipment safety checklists; log issues and initiate service calls.
  • Safely transport patients as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • May support  Radiology Services, Angio Labs, and SPCU as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Washington state license (in hand to submit).
  • Certifications: AHA  BLS ACLS , and  ARRT   or   RCIS   or   RCES (RCES required within 12 months of hire).
  • Experience:  2+ years of recent EP Lab experience with proven ability to scrub, circulate, and monitor.
  • Proficiency with  Epic EMR.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced competence across devices, ablations, and EP 3D mapping platforms.
  • Experience supporting Radiology/Angio/SPCU workflows.
