Join UCHealth as an RN Operating Room ASC, where you will provide direct nursing care in a surgical setting. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes, making a significant impact in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare the operating environment and assess the patient
Monitor and communicate patient condition during surgery
Perform scrub functions and manage surgical instruments
Ensure safety checklists and procedures are implemented
Provide nursing care to complex, high acuity surgical patients
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
6 months of OR nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
