Position Summary: North Alabama Medical Center is seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in perioperative nursing and be committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Circulate and/or scrub in various surgical specialties as needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies
• Respond to emergency situations and assist with critical interventions

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Alabama or compact state
• Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
