Job Description

Join a dedicated team at ECHN as a Behavioral Health Clinician, where you will provide essential clinical services to improve patient care and engage in innovative practices within a supportive community hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect clinical services for substance use and psychiatric needs
  • Conduct crisis assessments and intake assessments
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy
  • Develop and modify treatment plans
  • Participate in clinical team meetings and supervision
  • Document treatment progress and outcomes
  • Make appropriate referrals and manage discharge planning

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Connecticut licensure as LPCA, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Familiarity with abuse and neglect reporting
  • Knowledge of community-based resources
  • Experience with pre-authorization and billing processes
