Specialty: EEG Technician ~ Shift: 8 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Travel Travel EEG Technician Fusion Medical Staffing Facility in Burlington, VT Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled EEG Technician for a 32 week travel assignment in Burlington, VT. One year's recent experience as an EEG Technician required An EEG technician is a neurodiagnostic technologist who specializes in running electroencephalogram (EEG) tests, which are used to monitor brain activity and assist in diagnosing neurological disorders. Gather and document patient medical history to include neurologic symptomatology and medications to guide the diagnostic process. Monitors and adjusts EEG equipment to ensure optimal recordings Assess and document EEG recordings Maintain work environment, supplies, and equipment per established guidelines Maintain current knowledge of trends, regulation, equipment, policies and procedures pertaining to functional area The ability to read, write, & communicate in the English language is required Physical Abilities - Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment. Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate.
