Key Responsibilities
Prepares and dispenses drug orders per physician request.
Interprets drug orders and maintains accurate patient drug records.
Compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition products.
Issues controlled substances and maintains records as required by law.
Provides clinical consultation and drug education to patients and staff.
Monitors drug therapy regimens for contraindications and interactions.
Participates in quality improvement and medication use review activities.
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree
Pharmacy state licensure required within 60 days of start date
