Key Responsibilities
Assist in design and installation of electrical projects
Coordinate with other workers for equipment installation and maintenance
Consult with operators and engineers to plan equipment layout and resolve issues
Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections of industrial equipment
Test and troubleshoot faulty equipment
Maintain logs of equipment performance and repairs
Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment
Required Qualifications
Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping and climbing ladders
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold
Ability to work in elevated areas
Must be able to operate machinery
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to work overtime and on holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts
Must be able to perform electrical maintenance trade
Experience working with blueprints and schematics
Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude
Strong commitment to safety
Adequate transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wiring and programming Allen Bradley PLCs
Experience using electrical test equipment for analysis and troubleshooting
Knowledge of the National Electric Code
Mechanical aptitude to work from blueprints and maintenance manuals
Apprentice, Journeyman or above license with the state of Nebraska or equivalent
A 2-year degree in electromechanical or electrical systems or equivalent
