ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Gilbert, Arizona.

Job Details:
• Varied work schedule
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients in the emergency department
• Perform patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history and physical with patient/family and ensure completion within appropriate timeframe
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement plans of care including discharge planning using assessment data and patient/family input
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records in legible, timely manner
• Interact with physicians, patients, families, and external healthcare contacts
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to emergency department
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching frequently
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient transfers
• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills
