Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, or maintain mechanical gadgets, gear, systems, or procedures to fulfill needs using Lean Manufacturing Techniques. Interpret client drawings and understand clients' requirements. Utilize SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD and 2D software, and AutoCAD, with knowledge of GD&T dimensioning and metrology, to design, review, and revise designs of various mechanical and electrical components.
Assist in evaluating and initiating Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) with drawing support. Suggest design changes to prevent breakdowns or errors in machinery or systems. Analyze equipment malfunctions or operational issues to identify defects and propose corrective measures.
Support sales and quality teams with customer communication as a technical expert on existing products via video and voice calls. Perform studies to evaluate the practicality, blueprint, functionality, or efficiency of machinery, parts, or integrated units.
Assist in reviewing and dispositioning non-conforming materials with root cause analysis and develop corrective/preventive actions. Apply statistical methods and perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency enhancement.
Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team, communicating via emails and conference calls.
