Key Job Details – Med/Surg RN (Neuro)

• Location: Lebanon, NH 03756 (Upper Valley region)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/7/2026)
• Unit: 21-bed Med-Surg Neuro (Primary Stroke Center, Level IV Epilepsy Center)
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
• On-Call: Yes
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2200-$2360

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Hampshire or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience (Neuro nursing experience preferred)
• Proficiency in caring for patients with chest tubes, tracheostomies/laryngectomies, and complex wounds
• Experience with telemetry, central line care and maintenance, and blood draws
• Competency in managing IV drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone)
• Ability to manage lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and post-surgical needs (tumor resections, spinal surgery, head and neck cancer)
• Monitor and manage patients in a Primary Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Center
• Administer and titrate IV drips as ordered
• Perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
