Job Description

Join Sysco as a Diesel Fleet Mechanic Technician II and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet. Your expertise will help minimize downtime and enhance vehicle performance in a stable and growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Conduct FAI/CVI (Annual) inspections on all fleet vehicles
Perform quality maintenance repairs to maximize safety and reliability
Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups
Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications
Document all work performed on work orders
Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair or 2-year school and 1 year of experience
Current and valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

Medium / Heavy Duty truck technical training
Annual Inspector Certification
Brake Inspector Certification
ASE certifications; Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks
609 HVAC Certification
