The Judge Group is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Red Wing, Minnesota.

Schedule Notes:

Mon-Fri: Varied Hours 7a-5p Weekday on-call coverage required: Mon-Thurs 5p-7a Weekend on-call coverage required: Fri 5p-Mon 7a

 

Required: Required BLS and ARDMS

 

Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Registry-eligible candidates must be ARDMS registered in either Vascular Technology (RVT) or RDMS (Abdominal or OB/GYN) within 6 month of employment (RVT preferred first) and both RVT and RDMS within 12 months of employment.
-Third certification (Abdominal or OB/GYN) completed within 18 months of employment. 
-Employees that provide breast imaging are required to obtain RDMS (Breast) certification within 24 months of achieved competency.
-Employees hired for a role specific to vascular sonography, who are not eligible to apply for Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications, are exempt from the requirement of obtaining these registries.
-BLS certified.

Job Summary: Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments. Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology. Job Responsibilities: -Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients. -Fosters teamwork through effective communication. -Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines. -Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths. -Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care. Required Skills & Experience: -Organized, efficient and multifunctional. -Ability to work independently. -Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. -Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
