Radiology Technologist Job Details – York, PA

• Location: York, Pennsylvania 17403 (Central PA healthcare hub)
• Setting: Cardiac Cath/EP Lab (Invasive Cardiology Department)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Contract
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shifts – 4x10-hour (6:00am–4:00pm) or 5x8-hour (6:00am–2:00pm); flexibility required until last patient is cared for
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,390–$2,560 per week
• Call: Required with 30-minute response time; includes weekends and holidays as needed
• Holiday Coverage: Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays; no time off approved between Christmas and New Year's

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to respond to on-call within 30 minutes
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Comfortable providing care to COVID-19 patients
• Tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility compliance

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiovascular procedures including cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and cardiac device implantations
• Assist with complex coronary interventions, VAD/ECMO procedures, TAVR, PFO/ASD closures, and mitral valve clipping
• Deliver patient care in 4 dedicated Cardiac Cath Labs and 2 Electrophysiology Labs, supporting over 6,000 procedures annually
• Prepare and recover patients in a 23-bay unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Float to other clinical units as needed and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC and adhere to hospital protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation, weekend, and holiday coverage as required
