Sable Corporation is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Passaic, New Jersey.
Location: St. Mary’s General Hospital – Passaic, NJ
8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 15:00–22:00
Call required—no exceptions
Provide direct and indirect perioperative care for patients of all ages (neonates to older adults) using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Coordinate patient care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians
Guide and direct OR techs and other personnel during procedures
Maintain professional nursing standards and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-service education
Support patient flow and maintain unit organization
Act as a clinical resource for colleagues as needed
Active RN license in New Jersey
Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained
Current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained
Current PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained
Minimum one year of perioperative nursing experience or equivalent on-the-job training
CNOR certification preferred
BSN preferred
Pre-op and Post-op care experience required
Must be able to take call
