Key Responsibilities
Oversee behavioral care and pathway planning for ARC and CARE animals
Ensure high quality, low stress patient and population care
Manage, coach, and collaborate with behavior team
Lead research projects to advance animal behavior and welfare
Communicate project goals and data collection protocols
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in people management
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Maintain an open mind regarding changes and be willing to learn
Comfortable participating in humane euthanasia decisions
Fear Free certified within 6 months of hire
Low Stress Handling – Silver certified or ability to obtain by end of first year
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in developing/overseeing research projects
Experience writing scientific publications for peer-reviewed journals
