Job Description
Join Johns Hopkins Medicine as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing patient care. Work under experienced supervision, implementing treatment programs to help patients regain their functionality while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Works under the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist
Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess the occupational limitations and medical condition of patients
Prescribes and implements treatment programs to return patients to their maximum level of function
Collaborates with multidisciplinary health care team members
Promotes improvement in service and hospital systems for patient care
Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization
Required Qualifications
Completion of an Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
Licensure from State of Maryland, Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of Acute Care
Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program
