Key Responsibilities
Design and develop advanced hyperspectral imaging algorithms
Execute analysis of hyperspectral imagery from lab experiments and field tests
Improve existing methodologies for enhanced remote sensing capabilities
Present research and findings to various stakeholders
Support field integration, testing activities, data analysis, and lab experimentation
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in imaging science, spectral science, engineering, computer science, data analytics, or equivalent
5+ years of experience in hyperspectral image processing and algorithm development
Interest in broadening technical expertise to related areas
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse technical disciplines
Proficiency in MATLAB
Demonstrated experience in fundamental and applied research
Willingness to travel for meetings and field tests
Results-oriented, self-motivated, and innovative mindset
Ability to work independently and in a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Active Secret security clearance with potential for TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in a related field
10+ years of experience in hyperspectral imaging
Experience in spectral deconvolution algorithms and hyperspectral sensor performance modeling
Experience with sensor APIs
Experience with embedded computing devices and small UAS sensor integrations
Working knowledge of C++
Ability to serve as technical lead for a small team
Wide network within the hyperspectral imaging community
Experience in writing proposals
Active Top Secret security clearance
