Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Salina, Kansas.
EMR: Meditech Experience Required!!
Job/Unit Requirements:
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift dates/schedule: 7a-7p
Weekends Required: Every other weekend
License required: KS or Compact License at time of submission
Certifications required: BLS required. (NIHSS preferred)
# of years of experience required: min of 2yrs experience required
Floating: only when needed to other Med-Surg units or to ED/ICU to care for floor patients.
Skills: Tele (on the unit monitoring, remote monitoring), Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary/Renal, IV therapy/Phlebotomy (starting IVs), Medications (Heparin, Insulin, PCA),
Neurological (CVA, Substance Withdrawal), Plastics (Surgical Drains),
Respiratory (Chest tubes, Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management), Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
Unit scrub: Navy Blue
