Key Responsibilities
Lead analysis of certification planning and testing to ensure FAA compliance
Provide subject matter expert support to engineering programs
Mentor and guide prospective Engineering Unit members
Stay current with design trends and methodologies
Travel globally to supplier locations and Boeing sites
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
9+ years of experience (Level 4) or 14+ years (Level 5) in a relevant field
5 or more years' experience with Electrical System Design
3 or more years' experience with FAA compliance
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
12 or more years' related work experience
Active FAA DER appointment or ODA Engineering Unit Member
9 or more years’ experience with Electrical System Design
3 or more years’ experience mentoring engineers
Active U.S. Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
