Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers
Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
Engage other departments for patient needs
Facilitate conversations about benefits and collect copays
Monitor department service levels and productivity goals
Ensure pre-registration and financial clearance prior to service
Verify insurance coverage and benefits
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
6+ months of experience in an office or customer service setting
Beginner proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications
Influenza vaccination or commitment to receive it
Ability to work full-time 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday
18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of registration experience in a medical setting
Understanding of medical terminology
Knowledge of insurance policies and patient care settings
Previously worked for Northern Light Health
