**This role is a Hybrid position located in - 4349 Easton Way, Ste 200, Columbus, OHIO** Required in-office attendance during month-end close key dates. Will be in the office approximately 4 times per month.
Position Purpose: With the Buckeye Health Plan Finance team, you will support Plan Finance with Month-end calculations and estimates, statistical reporting, revenue/premium reconciliations and financial analysis. You will also be a subject matter expert for finance for the ODM (Ohio Department of Medicaid) contract requirements that relate to the finance division.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 6+ years of financial or data analysis experience
Preferred Skills:
Accounting, Finance and Data analysis experience in a Managed Care Health Plan
Advanced skills in data and financial analysis to include advance skills in Excel, Access, OneStream, EDW/Microstrategy (+knowledge in SQL), and Power BI
Strong critical thinking skills, data analysis, financial analysis
Understanding of strong internal accounting controls
